City Natives

City Natives is a dynamic community green space in Mattapan just blocks from Blue Hill Avenue. A half-acre horticultural learning center and native plant nursery, City Natives engages Boston gardeners of all ages and backgrounds in the process of growing food and tending urban green spaces. City Natives increases access to the skills, material and community building that local urban gardeners need to thrive.

City Natives is located at 30 Edgewater Drive. City Natives is a short walk from the Mattapan Square MBTA Station (Red Line) and Blue Hill Avenue bus lines. Parking is available along Edgewater Drive.

Hours:
City Natives is open every Saturday from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. (May-October) and during all public events, workshops and volunteer crews. To schedule an appointment to purchase plants or take a tour, write citynatives@bostonnatural.org.
