A private VIP reception was hosted by the law office of WilmerHale at 60 State Street, Boston, prior to Dr. Wangari's speaking program.
In addition to its spectacular panoramic views of Boston (see photo at left), the reception featured opportunities to meet Dr. Maathai in person and network with other environmentally-minded individuals.
